Eric is a mediator based in Western New York, combining his extensive legal knowledge and mediation skills to facilitate effective conflict resolution. He earned his Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo (UB) and holds a J.D. from Emory University’s School of Law. Prior to his relocation to Western New York, Eric practiced law in Atlanta, where he gained valuable insights into the complexities of legal disputes. His diverse educational background and practical experience allow him to empower clients through clear communication and collaborative solutions in the mediation process.

Eric has taught with San Francisco State University, UB’s College of Arts and Sciences, and co-facilitated a community mediation course offered by the School of Social Work. He has presented to local and international audiences about the intersection of mediation and disability. Eric is a member of the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation and works with national coalitions advocating for disability rights and justice.
